What’s going on with The Good Point these days? We’re glad you asked. While it doesn’t look like we’ve been up to a whole lot over here, I have to assure you that actually the exact opposite is true. Good things, trust us. You have questions, we have answers.

This is The Quick Point blog.
We’ve been in and out of hibernation this summer, completely overhauling much of the website’s aesthetic shell. As I’ve said before, our emphasis was on making the interface a) cleaner and fresh, b) more intuitive and convenient and c) more competitive on search engines and ad markets.
That this post is even necessary is a shame in itself, but an individual or series of individuals who fancied themselves important enough to inflict their disturbed will upon the lives of hundreds and thousands of innocents – physically, through the successful detonation of a pair of explosives at the world-renowned Boston Marathon, and emotionally, as any attack close to home does.
There’s been talk of yet another Michael Jordan comeback in the air, and as of yet, nobody’s quite figured out if it’s actually serious or not. With Air Jordan’s 50th birthday fast approaching (on Feb. 19th), fans and critics alike are taking a good hard look at the man’s Hall of Fame speech and reconsidering the possibility of him putting on a uniform for one last, symbolic game.
As of the New Year, The Good Point will welcome the addition of a new community: fantasy sports giant Sports.ws. With a global fantasy basketball game at the heart of it all, Sports.ws has served as the longest standing free fantasy basketball website on the internet. (Yes, you read that right). Online in one form or another since 1995, and open to the public since 1999, Sports.ws has persevered as the most unique and engaging fantasy sports format available. This is going to be a fun year.
